Welcome

Hi and welcome to my website.

My passion for photography began in fourth grade. I lived in a small town where I found a great after-school group that shot, processed and developed their own photos. I fell in love with the dark room. In High School, my design graphics class had a photography unit. Again I found myself spending hours in the dark room. It was there that I learned to hand color my photographs, creating what we call now, selective coloring.

As I look around I see the world as if I’m looking through my viewfinder. Everything around me is an inspiration. Three years ago I began project 365—where participants are challenged to take a photo everyday for the whole year. I am currently in my second full year of the project, which inspires me to continue to create images and motivates me daily to expand my photographic knowledge.
